Show season has started and there are a few shows that we are going to try to attend this year. We would love the pleasure of your company should you be attending the same shows.

Basic Summer Soft Cheese
Recipe
1 gallon of goats milk
2 cups of cultured buttermilk
1 drop of liquid rennet dissolved in 1/4 cup of cool water
Bring milk to room temp. Add buttermilk and dissolved rennet. Cover, let sit at room temp. for 12-24 hours (cheese becomes tart faster with warmer temps). Line a colander with butter muslin and pour cheese into it. Hang to drain 8-12 hours. After whey has drained off, add salt and herbs or fruit. It is wonderful with crackers!

AGS NATIONALS:
We ended up showing only in the Youth Show. It was not sanctioned for Nigerians, but we enjoyed the show. Our first experience at a National show.
Our proudest moment was when Drew received First Place in his showmanship class!
